  • Dassault Systèmes continues to make significant progress on the 3DExperience vision they laid out 5 years ago. This strategy has seen them transform from a software vendor offering distinct solutions for a variety of functional areas to a company that leads with a strong business transformation message backed up by a platform of solutions. SPEAK YOUR MIND

  1. As much as there is the fight for marketshare for those Design Engineering groups that use PLM/PDM products – I have to ask: What has been the Return On Investment with these products to begin with? As much as database software, like spreadsheets, have been a boon to Banking and Accounting – I have seen it to be more of a bane with manufacturers – ranging from automotive to aerospace. Then again, ‘OOTB’ software is nice in industries and job functions that are more ‘cookie cutter’, than Design Engineering processes that can decades old and as diverse as the products that are produced.
